Short Game Area
Please see the following guidelines on how we are running this area.
Short Game Area
The very popular state of the art short game areas (SGA) at Kingsfield are open to members and suitably experienced visitors:
- Access is available by pre-booking a time slot or on a pay & play basis. The cost per person is £10 per hour (or part thereof) and is payable in advance. Minimum charge is for 1 hour.
- Please sign in at the front desk when you arrive for your session and you will then be given your ball tube before you access the SGA
- In order to provide the best possible environment for honing your short game we are restricting the numbers utilising the facility to a maximum of six at any one time
- When the facility is busy and there are other golfers waiting to use the SGA the maximum time permitted is one hour.
- 20 good quality balls are provided to each user in plastic tubes. Balls and tube must be returned to reception on completion of the session. Shortages will be charged for (£1 per ball lost).
- Independent SGA access is restricted to golfers over the age of 16. If an Under-16 wants to use the area they must be supervised at all times.
- All shots must be taken from within the designated and marked areas. Do not play from out-with the allocated zones.
- Please try and minimise damage to the turf, repair all pitch marks, replace all divots and rake Bunkers after use.
- Please keep bags and/or trolleys off the greens.
- Make sure you sign out at reception immediately after completing your session. We welcome your comments on the SGA and please complete a feedback sheet or tell the Front desk staff your views.
