Kingsfield News - September 2010
Kingsfield Golf Centre (Kingsfield Golf Club) held its first ever Club Championship from 22nd August to 29th August.
The 22nd saw the stroke play qualifier held, with some good scores being shot! The 8 players who made it through to the match play section quarter finals were;

Alex Gordon
Neil Pitcairn
Gregor Aitken
Peter Smith
Euan Crabbie
Alistair Smith
Semi Final slots were won by;
John Walker
Neil Pitcairn
Peter Smith
Euan Crabbie
And the final was played out between John Walker and Euan Crabbie.
After a tough game and a very close front 9 John Walker came out on top in the back 9 and eventually won the tie 3&2. It was a windy day and some good golf was played by both finalists.
Everyone at Kingsfield would like to Congratulate John Walker on winning the first club championship, and we look forward to seeing if he can retain his title next year.
We would also like to thank all members who took part in the club championship and also all other medals throughout the year.
Mr Walker shall be presented with his trophy towards the end of the year at the prize giving evening.
